According to PWInsider, Outlaw Championship Wrestling will run from Trenton, Georgia on July 24th with an afternoon show headlined by Tracy Smothers vs. The Blue Meanie. And for those wondering, the promotion informed me [Buck Woodward] that they did attempt to contact WWE and offer to pay airfare and expenses for JBL to come to the show. Not surprisingly, there was no response from WWE.

SD: Funny stuff. Also of note, to me only probably, Tracy Smothers and the Blue Meanie just signed to be at the Cleveland All Pro Wrestling 12th Anniversary next Sunday. Right now they are pencilled in a tag match of Tracy Smothers and JT Lightning vs the Blue Meanie and MDogg 20. Antime JT is out there the heat is out of control. Same with Tracy Smothers. Throw them together in the same match against Meanie and MDogg and I expect a match that will cause more than a couple fans to spontaneously combust. Hey, JT, on the (very) off-chance you are reading this, invite JBL too!

Internal estimates at WWE place the ECW: One Night Stand at about 265,000 buys. Despite claims to the cotrary that is still pretty damn good.
