Wrestling News September 1, 2005

Because of the situation in New Orleans, I haven't updated the news here. I haven't been able to concentrate on the wrestling scene, or any other scene, as well as I wish I could. My apologies for this but I hope you understand. Here's a quick and dirty spotlight on the news.

-WWE tells the Dudley Boys that they can not use their names anymore. WWE owns the trademarks. They will now be calling themselves Team 3D, BRD and D-Von.

-Chris Jericho will be touring internationally with Fozzy.

-Mick Foley agreed to terms to work with the WWE again. It's expected he will be in a team with Eugene.

-Gail Kim has just signed with TNA. Expect them to start a women's division.

-Christian's Captian Charisma shirts were pulled because another party owns a trademark on the name.

-Ray Gordy, son of Terry "Bam Bam" Gordy, has signed with the WWE. He will be working in the Deep South Wrestling developmental territory.

-Shawn Daivari is also in DSW. He notes that Mark Caponi, TWFKA Muhammed Hassan, never showed up for duty in OVW.

-ROHwrestling.com has videos on their main page for you to check out.

-"The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson is returning to ROH to challenge James Gibson for the ROH Championship on September 17th.

-More news tomorrow.
